Course Description

The various methods used in the thermal design and analysis of both refrigeration and heat pump systems are investigated. Various methods of producing heating and cooling are examined including vapor compression, absorption, air cycle, steam jet, thermoelectric, solar heating and cooling systems. Prerequisite: EML 4601.
