An examination of the limitations on government as defined by the Supreme Court through constitutional law. Focus will be on the limitations of government with respect to the rights of the individual, of groups, and of the states. Particular attention will be paid to civil rights, civil liberties, the rights of the accused, political rights, and economic liberties.
