Course Description

Covers polynomial, rational, exponential and logarithmic functions: zeros of polynomials; conic sections; determinant and Cramer¿s rule; sequences and series; induction; binomial theorem. Students will determine appropriate mathematical and computational models and methods in problem solving and demonstrate an understanding of mathematical concepts. Students will apply appropriate mathematical and computational models and methods in problem solving. Students cannot receive credits for both this course and MAC 1147.
