COMPEG:BS - Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering

The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Engineering at FIU is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). Computer engineers serve as the architects of both hardware and software systems. Our curriculum places a strong emphasis on cutting-edge developments in computing systems, from quantum-level advancements to the implementation of large-scale infrastructure for servers, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, autonomous smart systems, among other pioneering areas of computer engineering. Through our program, students learn engineering concepts and design principles tailored to the dynamic and expanding field of computer engineering, covering both hardware and software solutions.
