Dietetics and Nutrition
The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Dietetics and Nutrition prepares students to become competent, intellectually curious professionals and leaders. The degree includes two majors: Didactic Program in Dietetics and Nutrition Science.
The Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) is the first of three steps required to become a registered dietitian/nutritionist. This major is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics.
The Nutrition Science major prepares students for pursuing health professional graduate degree programs.
