The Ph.D. program in Public Health prepares students for independent research, scholarship and teaching in the academia, industry and governmental agencies. The Ph.D. in Public Health offers six majors (concentrations) where students learn and apply research methods, engage in research and contribute to the body of knowledge in the areas of Biostatistics and Data Analytics; Epidemiology; Environmental Toxicology; Brain, Behavior and the Environment; Health Promotion and Disease Prevention or Health Disparities.
