Sustainability and the Environment

The Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sustainability and the Environment is an interdisciplinary degree covering the varied aspects of environmental sustainability and introduces students to the challenges of managing natural resources needed for today while also conserving them for the future. Students will learn about factors that determine the sustainability of human institutions, organizations, cultures, and technologies in different environments. Since sustainability encompasses many areas of academic interest, students are encouraged to also pursue appropriate minors and certificates that will complement the baccalaureate degree.
