XSTEMTC:MN - FIUteach STEM Teaching Minor

This FIUteach Teaching Minor prepares STEM majors for teaching careers in secondary education by combining classroom instruction with hands-on teaching experiences. Students design and teach inquiry-based STEM lessons in local schools, fostering critical pedagogical skills. Through reflective practice, participants continuously assess and refine their teaching methods. This program equips future educators with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to inspire and engage students in STEM fields. This program is aligned with the Professional Training Option (PTO), pursuant to F.A.C 6A-4.006 General and Professional Preparation (Amended. 6/23/16) in Florida. This minor in Education is open to all undergraduate students except those majoring in any STEM Education degree track.
