An overview of the major conceptual frameworks used by political theorists to describe, explain, and evaluate political behavior and processes. Stress is placed on political theory, not only as a basis for inquiry, but also as a base for political action. This course enables the student to develop analytical abilities with which to interpret the political events of his or her time.
