Course Description
This course covers fundamental principles and practical applications of surveying and geomatics including traditional surveying such as measuring angles, distances, and elevation differences distance. It also covers Global Positioning System, laser scanning, topographic mapping, remote sensing, photogrammetry, and introduction to geographic information. Basic concepts on these topics are applied to solve practical problems in Civil Engineering. Laboratory is included with field measurements.
