Course Description

Basic principles of heat, mass, and fluid transport. Derivation of basic equations, and simplification techniques. Applications to physiological systems, artificial organs, and pharmacokinetics. Prerequisites: BME2740, EGM3503, CHM1046 (with a grade of "C" or better), MAP2302 (with a grade of "C" or better), PHY2049 (with a grade of "C" or better) and MAC2313 or MAC2283 (with a grade of "C" or better)
