Digital Communication and Media

The Lee Caplin School of Journalism and Media offers the Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Digital Communication and Media in six undergraduate majors. The Digital Journalism and Digital Broadcast Journalism majors are for students interested in pursuing fast-paced careers in journalism and public communication. Students interested in media may choose from Digital TV and Multimedia Production, Digital and Interactive Media, Game Media, and Animation Media. All our majors are hands-on, experiential learning programs that prepare students for their first jobs immediately upon graduation. Students will learn media skills under the supervision of award-winning faculty in professional facilities that include a newsroom, a broadcast TV studio, a virtual reality lab, and advanced computer labs. The Lee Caplin School of Journalism and Media is committed to preparing career-ready journalists and media professionals, in English and Spanish, who are critical and reflective thinkers and communicators, ethical, socially responsible, well-rounded, and fair-minded.
