Simple Requirements
The student is expected to complete 30 credit hours at the graduate level, while achieving a GPA of at least 3.0 earned for courses required by the program. The student must maintain an overall GPA of 3.0. No grade below “C” will be accepted in the graduate program.
Students who receive a second C or lower in a course, will be required to meet with the Program Director to determine the feasibility of continuation in the program.
There are no majors associated with this program.
There are no tracks, specializations, concentrations, areas of emphasis, or other curricular offerings associated with this program.
(1) Applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, physical sciences, computer science, mathematics or STEM discipline from an accredited institution, or, in the case of foreign students, from an institution comparable or equivalent to a US degree for further study at the graduate level; or, a bachelor’s degree in a related field with programming experience.
(2) Applicant must have an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0/4.0 in either the last 60 credit hours or the overall undergraduate degree.
(3) Applicant who has not satisfied the above score may be evaluated for conditional admission.
Applicants without the required background are expected to complete background material at the undergraduate level. The required background materials will be determined by the Graduate Program Director and will consist of bridge courses established in the department
