Program Title

Certificate in Queer Studies

The Undergraduate Certificate in Queer Studies prepares students to critically examine and engage with issues of sexuality; gender identity; and the experiences of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) individuals across the world. Graduates of the program develop skills in conducting research, effective communication, and the application of interdisciplinary approaches to better understand sexual and gender minorities' role in society. Students learn to interpret and synthesize information from diverse sources, articulate their findings through clear and persuasive writing and presentations, and develop methods of analysis relevant in for-profit and non-profit professional settings.
