Sport and Exercise Science

The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Sport and Exercise Science provides a rigorous curriculum encompassing applied biomechanics, exercise physiology, nutrition for sport and exercise metabolism, motor control and behavior, and sport psychology. The program prepares graduates for a wide range of careers in exercise, sports medicine, exercise physiology, sport science, human performance, clinical healthcare, and fitness administration. Graduates of this program are equipped to excel in roles such as athletic trainer, physical therapist, sport coach, strength and conditioning coach, exercise physiologist, personal trainer, physician assistant, medical doctor, sport scientist, university professor, and school teacher. Additionally, they are eligible to sit for board exams in personal training, strength and conditioning, and exercise physiology, all of which are accredited and recognized by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
