Program Title
The Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Women's and Gender Studies prepares students to navigate and succeed in various professional settings by applying interdisciplinary understandings of gendered experiences, and perspectives across local, national, and international contexts. Students have the opportunity to choose coursework from three major areas: (1) Arts & Humanities (2) Health, Society & Violence Prevention (3) Research & Internships. Students develop the knowledge base and gain practical experience needed in psychology, healthcare, education, social work, law, and other fields. Graduates will be equipped with strong writing, research, data analysis, and digital literacy skills.
This BA degree allows students to design a program that aligns with their academic interests and professional goals. The degree may be taken face to face or fully online. Women's and Gender Studies is available as a Dual Degree or Second Major (WGSTUD:SM). In addition, CWGS offers the following certificates: WGSTUD:CFI, QURST:CFI, HLTHUM:CFI, and GVILP:CFI.
