The Bachelor of Science (BS) in Behavioral Neuroscience offers a rigorous undergraduate education with an emphasis in clinical, systems and behavioral neuroscience, development, neuroplasticity, mental health disorders, research methodology, statistics and data analysis, plus foundational science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) courses needed to compete in the fastest-growing medical and scientific careers. Graduates of the BS in Behavioral Neuroscience are prepared for high-demand, thriving careers directly after graduating, including in jobs such as medical, clinical, or research laboratory technicians; medical and health services managers; statisticians; technical writers; market research analysts; substance abuse and behavioral disorder counselors; and health educators, among others. Additionally, students graduating from the program will be prepared for advanced graduate study in neuroscience, medicine, pharmacology, veterinary medicine, neuropsychology, biomedical sciences, brain-machine interface technologies, and various areas within psychology.
