Program Title

Psychology

The Master of Science (MS) in Psychology program trains students to become experts in the study of psychology. The primary goal of the program is to equip students with the skills necessary to function as academic scientists or research scientists, or to apply skills in industry or other community or organizational settings. The program provides a rigorous, broad-based graduate education with an emphasis on topic-specific skills in research methodology and data analysis.

Students have the opportunity to apply directly into the following specialized majors: Behavior Analysis; Industrial/Organizational Psychology; Professional Counseling Psychology; or Organizational Science.

These majors may only be obtained by applying directly into the parallel major in the PhD in Psychology: Applied Social and Cultural Psychology; Child and Adolescent Clinical Science; Developmental Science; or Legal Psychology.
